Michael Sharpmack BS
Mike grew up in the Chicago area where he enjoyed spending time outdoors and eating deep-dish pizza. He attended college at Grace University in Omaha where he obtained a Bachelor of Science degree. Following college, he pursued his dreams of outdoor leadership and working with youth in a variety of positions across the country. Mike moved to the Lake of the Ozarks area in 2013 where he first joined Calo as a residential staff, working with the teen boys. He later joined the Adventure Therapy department before moving to the Preteen program leadership in early 2018. Mike currently serves both the Teen and Preteen programs as the Chief Operating Officer.
Kristy Ensley BA
Kristy started at Calo in August 2014. She works alongside staff and leadership in areas such as scheduling, training, and development. She moved to Preteens as Team Lead Supervisor in 2018 to help residential oversee the wonderful residential team. Outside of Calo, Kristy enjoys spending time with her family and is an avid reader.
Courtney Kitzman is a Preteen Residential Team Lead. She was born in Janesville, WI and moved for her father’s job when she was 9 years of age to the Quad Cities (Illinois/ Iowa border). She was a duel-enrolled student and graduated in 2011. After high school Courtney spent time studying business management. While in college she spent time in the work force to gain experience, where she learned that she was not living out her passion in life. Courtney had her daughter named Anistyn Jayde Louise in 2017. This brought a new meaning in life. Courtney’s states her daughter brought out the best in her and allowed Courtney to see the vision she wanted for her and her daughter. Family means the world to her so she made the arrangements to move to Lake of the Ozark area where her parents retired in 2017. That is when she discovered Calo.” In July of 2018 she was promoted from direct care staff to being Team Lead of the Bears Team. She felt it was her calling to serve a purpose. In her short time at Calo she has gained many amazing relationships with the students, and has seen lives change, including her own. "I have seen myself become a better mom, daughter, and friend." Courtney is looking forward to years down the road, and all the lives that will be changed along the way.
Tyler Jenkins joined the Calo team in 2016 as a residential coach in the teen girls program. During this time Tyler has worked hard to build his skills, working to establish lasting relationships and trust with our girls. In 2017, Tyler took his skills to the teen boys program and continued to develop as a staff, as well as train new staff to care for our students. In 2018 Tyler took over as the team lead for the Diamonds team, working with the preteen girls. Tyler has worked hard and shown the ability to care for our students and help direct our staff to provide the best care for your children. Tyler is originally from North Florida, and moved to the lake area in 2016, with his wife, and is a father to one daughter.
